Full course description

This course starts with on overview of database management systems then narrows down to Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS). Using MS Access, it introduces the concepts of database, table, query, forms, reports and procedures. It gives emphasis on queries as a way of managing databases and discusses both Data Manipulation Language (DML) and Data Definition Language (DDL). It concludes with data modeling and normalization followed by a project.
